Look Mommy! I helped you!

Kaitlyn is right in the middle of the little helper phase of her development.  Most of the time, she's a great gofer.  But then there are times she takes the initiative, and it doesn't always end well...

Kaitlyn has stinky feet.  To keep her shoes from stinking up the house, I put foot powder in them in the summer.  Kaitlyn thinks it's baby powder.  So tonight, she went in the diaper bag I so smartly left on the couch, and removed the travel sized powder.

Kaitlyn then was so helpful, she put powder in our shoes that we keep by the door.

When she first did the powder, this shoe actually had a nice mound sitting on top.  But Kaitlyn thought it would be fun to put the shoes on and walk around and spread the baby powder everywhere.

Christine gave me her own mess since she's decided it's way more fun to put the spoon in her own mouth rather than have me do it for her.

My baby loves her blueberries!

So lessons learned:
1. Put the diaper bag away
2. You can only keep one pair of shoes downstairs
3. Turn the ceiling fan off before you try to sweep up baby powder
